These are wonderful! We homeschool, and I was looking for at least one character trait per letter (to make a character trait alphabet lapbook), so I'm still working on a couple of letters. ;) I'm going to look around to see if I can find at least one Bible passage per trait we're using, as well. This will make my "homework" much lighter! Thank you!
peace in Christ--

Thank you!

I am studying "learning" and the characteristics of learners, the learning habits we must develop to become effective learners for the challenges of the future.

We seem to concentrate in schools upon ways to help children learn "more" and learn "better" but we cannot help them to be better learners without focusing on learning habits.

"Character" traits such as perseverance and persistence are crucial to learning and this is being neglected... we try to make learning fun for our children but the danger is we can hide the fact that learning is not always easy! To accept challenge we must believe that its OK to make mistakes and get stuck... its part of learning... character traits are required to cope with inherent difficulties.

I find your work inspiring and want to refer to it in my studies... with your permission...

Excellent. Thank you for compiling a list of these character traits. Some thing that both children and adults -- including me -- need to emulate.

Have a pleasant and rewarding day and God bless both you and your family my friend.

These are such good topics . I strongly believe this is necessary to help build healthy children of America and the whole world. Thank you so very much for this website.

I am humbled. I will be sharing some of these topics to the children all over in my own handwriting but of course mentioning who these quotes are and where it came from. Thank you very much.
